Mellin Pastina Fili D’Angelo is a very fine, thread-like Italian baby pasta, specially designed for babies from 5 months onwards. Its ultra-thin strands cook quickly and become very soft, making them easy to swallow and gentle on a baby’s developing digestive system.

This pastina is ideal for preparing light soups, broths, or smooth meals, helping babies transition safely from purees to their first textured foods.

Feeding Process

For Babies 5 Months+

1. Bring water or light vegetable/chicken broth to a boil.

2. Add 1–2 tablespoons of Mellin Pastina Fili D’Angelo.

3. Cook for 4–6 minutes, stirring gently, until very soft.

4. Drain excess liquid if needed.

5. Mix with vegetable purée, lentils, or finely mashed meat.

6. Allow to cool before feeding.

For First-Stage Weaning:

• Mash or blend the cooked pastina for a smoother consistency.
